Lawyers for Doctors Limited was founded by our principal solicitor, Julie E Norris. (SRA No: 19856)
Julie graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1991 . She qualified as a solicitor in London in 1998. She was retained by her training firm on qualification in the corporate team. In 2000, Julie began to undertake an increasing number of employment law matters. Since 2004, Julie has acted almost exclusively for a whole host of NHS and social care clients. In terms of healthcare matters, Julie has acted in both the Secondary and Primary Health Care sectors. Julie's clients include GP, Dental and Orthodontic practices as well as NHS Consultants, Clinicians, Nurses (staff nurses, RMNs and occupational health), Psychologists, Paramedics, Radiographers and NHS Managers. Julie has represented clients at internal Trust disciplinary hearings and investigations, MHPS hearings and at counter-fraud investigations. Julie often undertakes her own advocacy representing clients in the Employment Tribunal, at the General Medical Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council and Health and Care Professions Council. |
